Summary: This position will be responsible for generating sales and opportunities for semiconductor testing and/or reliability services. Duties include price negotiations, increasing sales in existing accounts as well as forecasting sales. Candidate will also act as liaison between technical groups as well as manage support from multiple factories / suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Follow up on day to day issues such as customer requests for WIP status
  • Calls on management representatives such as engineers, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and attempts to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of services offered.
  • Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected increases in production from client's use of proposed equipment or services.
  • Provide technical support to Sales support, Account Managers, and customers
  • Draws up sales or service contract for products or services
  • Assists in identifying customer needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales
  • Monitoring cycle times or fast tracks and basic engineering information
  • Develop, supervise and coordinate activities for Sales Support personnel.
  • Refer opportunities for the companys other services to customers
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong understanding of IC assembly and test process in the semiconductor industry
  • Demonstrated planning, organizing, and statistical skills

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent required. MBA preferred.
  • Prefer 5+ years of sales experience with a strong understanding of the test process and / or reliability in the semiconductor industry.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

  • Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.
  • Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers.
  • Understanding of demand process, decisions and schedule knowledge of forecast plan

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software, as well as Microsoft Outlook and experience with CRM software is a plus
