Job Title: Sales Manager / Floor Control Lead (Confidential - Premier Brand)

Location: Burlingame, CA / San Mateo County area

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are a premier, highly respected automotive group in the Bay Area. We are currently searching for a high-energy, relentless, and hands-on Sales Manager to lead our sales floor, drive lead conversion, and elevate our team’s performance.

We are not looking for someone who manages from behind a computer screen. We want a first-round draft pick—a highly motivated, resilient, front-line leader who leads by example and shows the team how to win every single day.

Whether you are a top-performing Sales Manager ready for a bigger opportunity, or a superstar closer who's ready to step into your first leadership role, if you have the drive, we have the coaching and platform to sharpen you into an industry leader.

Who You Are:

  • A High-Energy Competitor: You treat every lead, phone call, text, and showroom walk-in as a high-stakes opportunity. You don’t get defeated by tough days or lost deals—you regroup, adjust, and attack the next play.

  • A Lead Execution Specialist: You understand modern digital retail, phone discipline, CRM utilization, and rapid follow-up. You know how to execute on leads across all channels (phone, text, email, internet) and teach your team to do the same.

  • A Hands-On Coach & Closer: You don't just order people around—you'll step onto the floor, desk deals, take TOs, and demonstrate high-level closing skills right in front of your reps.

  • Coachable & Driven: You have thick skin, high standards, and a desire to win. You welcome mentorship from executive leadership to polish your skill set while bringing raw passion to the floor every day.

  • People & Profit Focused: You care about building genuine relationships with customers and staff, but you also value every single dollar on every transaction and respect the P&L.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily sales operations on the floor, desking deals, closing customers, and managing sales pipeline.

  • Actively monitor, audit, and coach the sales team on internet, phone, and text lead responses within the CRM.

  • Conduct daily/weekly coaching sessions, role-playing objection handling, closing techniques, and lead follow-up.

  • Maintain aggressive floor control, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional luxury-level experience.

  • Drive inventory turn, gross profit retention, and finance penetration targets alongside executive management.

  • Create and maintain a high-accountability, high-energy environment built on winning and team success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of performance in automotive sales, internet/CRM lead management, and closing.

  • Demonstrated ability to desk deals, overcome objections, and close high-line/luxury clientele.

  • Strong digital fluency across CRM systems, lead management platforms, and modern communication tools.

  • Exceptional communication, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

  • High ethical standards and a relentless work ethic.

What We Offer:

  • Target Compensation Range: $180,000 – $300,000+ On-Target Earnings (Generous base salary + aggressive volume and gross profit bonuses).

  • Executive Mentorship: Direct access to experienced leadership committed to developing your career.

  • Luxury Brand Platform: Represent one of the most desirable automotive lineups in the market.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and employee vehicle purchase programs.

We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the California Fair Chance Act. All applications are strictly confidential.
