About Us:

Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audit. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.

We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We're backed by top investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Y Combinator, Floodgate, Elad Gil, Justin Kan, Qasar Younis, Eric Ries, and more.

We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.

As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.

About the Role:

As a Manager, Sales at Fieldguide, you'll be responsible for leading and scaling a team of Account Executives focused on selling Fieldguide’s innovative vertical AI platform to the largest players in audit and advisory. You’ll coach and support your team to meet and exceed revenue goals, while also helping to shape the sales strategy, improve processes, and build a high-performing sales culture. By championing a values-based selling approach, you’ll ensure the team is aligned with our mission to improve the efficiency and productivity of audit and advisory services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Account Executives, ensuring they meet individual and team goals across pipeline generation, sales activity, and revenue performance

  • Help your team build relationships with key decision-makers at top audit and advisory firms by coaching them on how to understand business needs and tailor solutions accordingly

  • Review and guide deal strategies throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to close

  • Partner cross-functionally with teams including Solutions, Finance, Marketing, and Product to ensure your team is equipped to deliver an excellent customer experience

  • Monitor key sales metrics and use data to guide coaching conversations, forecast revenue, and optimize team performance

  • Play a key role in refining our sales playbook, improving onboarding, and scaling best practices across the sales team

  • Represent Fieldguide at networking events and conferences, and help your team uncover new opportunities through relationship building

  • Up to 30% travel is required

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring a sales team, ideally in a high-growth enterprise B2B SaaS environment

  • 5+ years of experience in a closing role, with a strong track record of exceeding quota and closing complex deals with enterprise accounts

  • Comfortable leading multi-threaded, highly consultative sales processes that involve multiple stakeholder levels, from executives to end users

  • Experienced in hiring, onboarding, and developing sales talent

  • Motivated by building repeatable processes in a startup environment and creating a collaborative, high-performing sales culture

  • Familiarity with the audit, advisory, or assurance industry is a strong plus, especially with prior experience as a practitioner
