About AfterQuery

AfterQuery is an applied research lab curating data solutions for foundation model development. We serve every frontier AI lab with the mission of delivering the best data to power the best models. In doing so, we can make expertise that once took a lifetime to build available to anyone who needs it.

Our customers are the ones building the foundation models themselves and our work sits directly in the loop of how those systems improve. This is a rare opportunity to join a company at a defining moment in AI. Forbes reported that we could be YC's fastest unicorn, reportedly raising at a $3.2 billion valuation. We're based in San Francisco and backed by leading investors including Altos Ventures, BoxGroup, and Y Combinator and angels from Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta Superintelligence Labs, and Microsoft AI.

Why Apply

  • Coordinate internally to gather information needed for RFIs, proposals, questionnaires, and customer requests

  • Own follow-ups across internal teams to make sure sales requests are completed on time

  • Help identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to make workflows more efficient

  • Partner with sales, operations, legal, finance, and other teams to keep deals moving

  • Bring structure and organization to processes that may not yet be fully defined

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively chase down information from multiple stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to figure things out independently

  • Ability to create clear, polished presentations and written materials

  • High agency — you see something that needs to get done and take ownership of getting it done

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  • Strong judgment and ability to prioritize competing requests

Nice to Have
  • Background in investment banking, management consulting, business operations, or another highly analytical and execution-oriented environment

  • Experience supporting a high-growth sales organization

  • Experience managing RFIs, RFPs, proposals, or similar sales processes

  • Experience with CRM or sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms

  • Experience with basic sales reporting or pipeline analysis

What We Value
