The Sales Operations Lead (SOL) is a valuable resource for the Regional Sales Operations team. In addition to their standard Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) responsibilities, the SOL will provide additional support to the regional Director of Operations to help maintain a successful operational sales process.

In this role, the SOL will report to the Director of Operations and work hand in hand to maintain a high level of internal and external customer service. SOL will refine and manage the internal Deal Registration process for the region as well as assist with other regional and corporate projects, as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Continue with SOS responsibilities for Account Executive including generating quotes, tracking opportunities, processing purchase orders, etc.

  • Serve as the backup point of contact when the Sales Operations Manager is unavailable.

  • Manage the Regional Sales Coordinator(s) to help ensure exceptional internal and external communication and customer service.

  • Refine and maintain an effective and sustainable Deal Registration process to make sure we are maximizing gross profit.

  • Work closely with the Corporate Vendor Relationship Management team to ensure solid understanding of partner program details (i.e. who is the regional Channel Manager, what is GuidePoint’s partner level, margin advantage, etc.)

  • Assist Regional Management team with special projects, as needed.

  • Manage the Regional Sales Coordinator(s) to help ensure exceptional internal and external communication and customer service.

  • Conduct 30/60/90 day and annual performance reviews for direct reports.

  • Provide mentorship to junior team members on professional growth and development opportunities.

Required Experience:
  • Proven excellence as a GuidePoint Security Sales Operations Specialist.

  • Demonstrates ability to take on and effectively own more responsibility as a Senior SOS.

  • 1-3 years of leading a team preferred.

  • Self-motivated with strong ability to prioritize and multitask.

  • Must have outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

  • Ability to work well with a team.

  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must.

  • Must be open to receiving constructive feedback and applying it to improve their results.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible work schedule required.

  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools

Travel Requirements:
  • Any travel/on site requirements as needed

Physical Requirements:
  • Sedentary work

  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day

  • Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
