This role owns demand planning, inventory management, purchase order execution, POS and trend analysis, and trade spend management. The Sales Operations Manager acts as a real-time business monitor - interpreting data, identifying emerging issues and opportunities, and mobilizing internal cross-functional partners to respond with speed and precision.
Core Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the Sam's Club account and internal teams, translating account-specific needs into actionable priorities and ensuring consistent, timely communication across stakeholders.
  • Own long-range forecasting (12-18 months), sales flow, and inventory planning in partnership with demand planning, operations, and sales teams, with particular focus on mitigating risk around high-velocity tentpole events.
  • Manage multiple forecasting systems, actioning against updates to inventory flows, promotional plans, pricing structures, and data governance for both new and existing SKUs.
  • Coordinate with analyst, strategic sales, and demand planning teams to track promotional performance, recalibrate forecasts, and develop forward-looking shipment strategies.
  • Partner with Strategic Sales and Analytics to deliver channel-specific promotional guidance and ensure alignment between national initiatives and account-level execution.
  • Support trade-spend optimization and healthy revenue growth by leveraging spend tools and aligning promotional investments with EBITDA objectives.
  • Contribute to sales strategy development and execution, continuously analyzing sales and operational performance to surface insights and drive improvement.
  • Lead weekly customer meetings and deliver timely financial updates, ad hoc reporting, and structured business reviews with clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Build compelling internal and customer-facing presentations and strategic decks while maintaining a strong working knowledge of key product categories and the competitive landscape.
  • Bring intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving to every challenge, identifying non-obvious solutions and continuously raising the bar on operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, business analytics, or a financial role within the consumer products industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize insights across multiple complex data sets and translate findings into clear decision-making frameworks.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Prior operational or sales experience with a large-format retailer (Costco or Sam's Club experience strongly preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a consistent positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% for corporate events and visits to SharkNinja HQ (Needham, MA).
