Your Role as a Sales Operations Process & Reporting Analyst 

The Sales Operations Process & Reporting Analyst is responsible for improving the effectiveness, scalability, and adoption of the company's sales and revenue processes. This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Revenue Operations stakeholders to evaluate business workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the successful execution of process enhancements across the revenue lifecycle. 

With a primary focus on sales operations, business process optimization, reporting, and analytics, this position serves as a key liaison between business teams and technical resources. The role is responsible for documenting business requirements, identifying operational inefficiencies, developing process documentation, supporting user adoption, and providing reporting and insights that enable data-driven decision making. 

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can assess business challenges, recommend practical solutions, and drive continuous operational improvement. 

A Day in the Life of a Sales Operations Process & Reporting Analyst  

Revenue Process Optimization 

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations leaders to evaluate, document, and improve end-to-end revenue processes from lead generation through renewal and expansion. 
  • Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and adoption challenges and recommend solutions that improve productivity, consistency, and scalability. 
  • Lead process mapping activities and maintain current-state and future-state workflows for key sales and customer lifecycle processes. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, quoting, contracting, renewals, and customer lifecycle management. 

Business Requirements & Cross-Functional Coordination 

  • Gather, document, prioritize, and maintain business requirements for process, reporting, and system enhancement requests. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Technology teams to ensure business needs are clearly defined and understood. 
  • Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, testing plans, and process documentation to support organizational initiatives. 
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and validation activities for system and process changes prior to deployment. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights for Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Partner with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs aligned to organizational goals. 
  • Monitor reporting effectiveness and recommend modifications as business priorities evolve. 
  • Analyze trends, performance metrics, and operational data to support strategic decision-making. 

Documentation, Training & Adoption 

  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, reference materials, and user guides for key revenue-generating processes. 
  • Partner with enablement and business leaders to support communication, training, and adoption of new processes and workflows. 
  • Establish and maintain governance around process documentation to ensure employees have access to clear and current information. 

Data Quality & Operational Excellence 

  • Partner with business stakeholders to establish and maintain data quality standards. 
  • Identify trends and root causes related to data quality issues and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Support data stewardship initiatives that improve reporting accuracy, forecasting reliability, and operational decision-making. 
  • Monitor adherence to defined business processes and recommend improvements that enhance organizational effectiveness. 

Scope of Responsibility 

  • This role is responsible for:

  • User adoption and operational effectiveness 
  • Cross-functional coordination for process and system improvements 
  • This role is not responsible for: 
  • Salesforce user provisioning or access management 
  • Security administration or governance 
  • Salesforce system configuration 
  • Technical platform administration 
  • API development or integrations 
  • Production system support or troubleshooting 
  • Platform monitoring, maintenance, or deployment activities 
  • These responsibilities remain within Technology and Salesforce platform administration teams. 

What You Need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related functions. 
  • Experience supporting Quote-to-Cash and Lead-to-Revenue business processes. 
  • Strong process mapping, documentation, and business requirements gathering skills. 
  • Experience building business reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. 
  • Ability to translate business challenges into scalable operational solutions. 

Preferred 

  • Experience supporting organizations that utilize Salesforce.com as a CRM platform. 
  • Experience with CPQ, CLM, or related revenue operations tools. 
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional process improvement initiatives. 
  • Knowledge of revenue operations best practices and KPI development. 
  • Experience with change management, user adoption, and process governance programs.

Pay Transparency:   

$120,000.00 to $125,000.00 Annually  

The base salary or hourly range listed above represents the good faith estimate of the compensation Fusable reasonably expects to pay for this position upon hire. Actual compensation packages are individualized and determined by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, internal equity, certifications, education, qualifications, specific skill set, and Fusable’s business needs. Additional compensation may include bonuses and equity.
