A day in the life.

 

As our Sales and Risk Consultant you will gather current coverage information from prospects and evaluate and analyze data and prepare comprehensive risk evaluations to include product and service requirements.  You’ll review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations while ensuring regulatory requirements are met and internal policies procedures are followed.

You will work with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Client Advisors (CAs) as appropriate to grow and expand referral sources.  Additionally, you will  incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.


We will count on you to:

•    Negotiate with primarily multiple HNW insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.

•    Generate referrals from your COIs.

•    Be responsible for meeting new business development goals and forecasting.

•    Incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.

•    Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.

•    Use the EPIC Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.

•    Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and there is compliance with all internal policies and procedures.

•    Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:


  • 4 years of directly related business development/client service experience.
  • Successful Sales and Risk Consultant experience with high-net-worth clients essential
  • P&C licensed and HNW personal lines insurance experience necessary

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
