seoClarity is seeking a technically strong, consultative, and highly polished Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing Sales team in our downtown Chicago office. We’re looking for someone who can bring enterprise SEO, AI search, data, and platform capabilities to life for prospective customers through compelling demos, thoughtful discovery, and value-driven technical conversations.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to understand prospect needs, shape solution strategy, deliver tailored platform demonstrations, answer technical questions, support RFPs and security reviews, and connect seoClarity’s capabilities to meaningful business outcomes.

Sales Solutions Engineer (Chicago-based) Perks & Benefits

Associate Product Manager, AI Platforms (Chicago-based) Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Communications, Information Systems, or another related field.
  • 4+ years of technical pre-sales/post-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical demo experience, ideally within enterprise SaaS, marketing technology, analytics, search, SEO, AI, or data platform environments.
  • Strong ability to deliver polished, engaging, and highly tailored software demonstrations to executive, technical, marketing, and cross-functional buying audiences.
  • Experience partnering with Account Executives throughout complex B2B sales cycles, including discovery, solution positioning, technical validation, stakeholder alignment, and deal support.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, search marketing, SEO, AI search, AEO, content performance, web analytics, or enterprise marketing workflows.
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities, datasets, workflows, and platform functionality into clear business value for prospective customers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead conversations with technical stakeholders, marketing leaders, procurement teams, security teams, and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, platform capabilities, integrations, data structures, and customer use cases.
  • Comfortable supporting RFPs, security questionnaires, technical assessments, procurement documentation, and other enterprise sales requirements.
  • Experience working with large datasets, Excel, analytics platforms, reporting tools, or data-driven business workflows.
  • Highly resourceful, proactive, and comfortable building new materials, demo flows, talk tracks, proof points, and resources that improve the sales process.
  • Strong curiosity around AI search, generative AI, answer engines, LLMs, automation, enterprise SEO, and the changing ways brands are discovered online.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities, prospect needs, technology, and market expectations continue to evolve.
Sales Solutions Engineer (Chicago-based) Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to provide technical and strategic support throughout the full enterprise sales cycle.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand prospect goals, technical requirements, current workflows, pain points, business priorities, and success criteria.
  • Create and deliver customized, high-impact seoClarity platform demonstrations that connect product capabilities to each prospect’s business needs.
  • MUST have direct experience with enterprise SEO platforms, search intelligence tools, web analytics platforms, content optimization tools, or digital marketing technology.
  • Translate complex SEO, AEO, AI search, automation, analytics, and platform capabilities into clear, value-driven messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help prospects understand how seoClarity supports visibility across traditional search, AI-driven answers, enterprise SEO workflows, content performance, reporting, and large-scale search intelligence.
  • Provide technical credibility during sales conversations by answering product, workflow, data, integration, reporting, and platform-related questions.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and Account Executives to shape demo strategy, solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and technical sales messaging.
  • Support RFPs, security reviews, vendor questionnaires, procurement requests, and other technical sales documentation needed to move opportunities forward.
  • Partner with Product, Client Success, Technical Services, and Marketing to share prospect feedback, surface market trends, identify feature opportunities, and improve sales enablement materials.
  • Develop reusable demo assets, talk tracks, objection-handling resources, competitive positioning, and technical sales collateral that strengthen the broader sales process.
  • Stay informed on the competitive landscape and clearly communicate seoClarity’s unique differentiators across SEO, AEO, AI search, automation, data, and enterprise scalability.
  • Support marketing and go-to-market initiatives as needed, including webinars, events, conferences, content creation, customer stories, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Represent seoClarity with professionalism, curiosity, and confidence during prospect meetings, executive presentations, onsite visits, and industry events.
  • Continuously improve demo delivery, technical messaging, product knowledge, and understanding of how enterprise brands are adapting to the future of search.

Sales Solutions Engineer (Chicago-based) Nice To Have
  • Experience selling or supporting solutions for Fortune 1000, enterprise, or multi-brand organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI Overviews, AEO, generative AI, LLMs, chatbots, answer engines, entity-based search, or emerging AI discovery channels.
  • Experience working with marketing, SEO, content, analytics, ecommerce, or digital teams inside large organizations.
  • Exposure to APIs, integrations, data pipelines, technical documentation, security reviews, or enterprise implementation workflows.
  • Experience creating demo environments, custom proof-of-concepts, technical validation materials, or solution architecture documentation.
  • Background in SEO, digital strategy, marketing analytics, customer success, implementation, or technical consulting.
