Position Summary

The Sales Support Associate will manage accounts for our broker, TPA and insurance carrier partners. In this position you will effectively partner with Internal Sales Leaders and Distribution Partners, to drive new business acquisition and account retention.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Renewal & RFP/Quote Process for Existing & New Clients
    • Proactively communicates RSB’s programs & services to align the broker directive & the needs of the client
    • In collaboration with the broker & sales leader, identifies the appropriate markets
    • Effectively communicates to external & internal partners the broker & client solution strategy
    • Reviews the Renewals/RFPs for complete & accurate data, collects any missing information, & submits the marketing request accordingly
  • Directs the Renewal & New Business Marketing Results
    • Manages deadlines
    • Ensures accuracy of the quotes & offers
    • Prepares the marketing & solutions presentations
  • Executes the Renewal & New Business Implementation Process
    • Successfully assists in the execution of the application materials
    • Coordinates with internal & external teams to ensure all additionally required documentation is completed
    • Captures data precisely, to meet quality & service standards
    • Facilitates implementation calls to insure understanding of the roles & responsibilities of all involved parties for on-going premium and claims administration
    • Collaborates with external teams to ensure contracts are issued timely & accurately

Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Self-Funded Insurance industry.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Licenses and Certifications:
• Life/Health State Insurance License is a plus, but not required

The target salary range for this position is $64,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
