Job Description:

Sales Territory Manager

Huntsman is seeking a Sales Territory Manager supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in South Texas. This position will report to the Regional Sales Director.

Job Scope
The Sales Territory Manager is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned region and driving sales performance. This role requires strategic thinking related to pricing, competitive positioning, and business needs while operating in a safe and ethical manner.

In summary, as the Sales Territory Manager, you will:

  • Drive spray foam sales to contractors and distributors to achieve annual targets.
  • Develop annual business plans to exceed sales quotas.
  • Meet regularly with clients to present value propositions and secure specifications.
  • Participate in industry and promotional events.
  • Demonstrate understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Conduct effective business discussions with contractors, distributors, and decision-makers.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate, and execute business agreements.
  • Provide competitive intelligence updates, including pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities such as emails, expense reports, and performance tasks.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales within construction or building materials.
  • Residence in South Texas (relocation will not be provided).
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%.

Skills and knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and time management abilities.
  • Sales-oriented and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in spray foam or insulation.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.

Working Environment

  • Remote, field-based role.
  • Approximately 75% travel within the South Texas territory.
  • Candidate must reside in South Texas.
