The value of this position
The Account Executive (AE) will be working on the Law & Accounting team to effectively sell various insurance lines to law firms and accounting firms. The AE will be largely working on selling Embroker’s digital legal malpractice solution, which is a first of its kind in the industry. This individual must be highly motivated, disciplined, and team oriented. They must be innovative and utilize technology to change the status quo.
What you will own in this role
- Prospecting - Own leads that are generated by Embroker, and self-generated. You will need to qualify leads, assess their needs and talk them through the buying process. You will be accountable for maintaining a high conversion rate consistent with the rest of the team.
- Consultative Advisory & Broker Services - Understand the prospect’s needs and provide sound feedback based upon what we have available to assist them. You will be selling Embroker’s proprietary products and commercially available products. You will be accountable for excellent customer service and understanding the product being sold. You will work with the Client Success team to assist clients with questions that come up after earning their business.
- Product Improvement - By understanding client needs versus our proprietary products, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of Embroker’s products to better suit the needs of your clientele
What experience we think is the right fit
- Active state insurance license is required.
- 3-5 years in commercial insurance is required.
- Knowledge of professional liability is a plus.
- 3-5 years in an insurance sales / customer service roll is a plus.
- Skilled at managing & prioritizing workloads to meet the needs of prospective clients.
- Positive mindset! This includes willingness to learn, embrace and overcome challenges and push the status quo.
- Collaborate with your team and raise people up versus bringing others down.
- Highly disciplined, organized, and able to obtain your goals without being micromanaged.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Google Suite, Underwriting, Slack.
