Fivetran is looking for an ambitious Account Manager that is passionate about providing stellar customer service to our new and existing clients while providing a mix of client support, on-boarding and sales capacities. The Account Manager role is a balance between sales and client success.

As an Account Manager at Fivetran, you will:

  • Lead the way in annual customer renewals
  • Empathize with customers appropriately and find solutions to maintain solid relationships
  • Exercise sales tact while growing the account over time as needs evolve
  • Hold monthly and quarterly up-sell quotas

  • Communication. Speaks and writes clearly and articulates without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail. 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Experience in a SaaS quota-carrying sales or customer success role, ideally in business intelligence or analytics
  • Track record of hitting/exceeding targets for account retention
  • Persistent, positive attitude for relationship building and closing business
  • Experience managing many stages of a client relationship -- onboarding, retention, renewal etc.
  • Experience using Salesforce a must, experience with Looker a plus
  • The right balance of self-confidence and humility to lead as an individual contributor
  • Customer-centric and passionate about how customers can gain value and insight from dataExhibits an aptitude to advance into a Sales/CS Management or Enterprise Sales/CS roleMust be based in Denver, CO or Oakland, CA

Location

Our Office is located in the City Center Complex in the heart of Downtown Oakland. The building sits right above a BART station - 12th St. Oakland City Center.
