What we’re looking for: 

Sift is hiring a Global Director of Sales Enablement to build a program that delivers exceptional impact to the business. This is a global, individual contributor role that works closely with our sales and services leaders and reports to the VP, GTM & Business Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage Content: Partner closely with leadership, product marketing, technical experts, and others to build and maintain:
    • Live and online training modules
    • Field tools (sales playbooks, scripts, competitive battlecards, and other job aides)
    • Rich library of assets to use with customers and prospects 

Create and manage a process to actively manage quality, comprehensiveness, timeliness, and accessibility of enablement and customer-facing content.

  • Sales & Services Execution
    • Identify competencies for key customer-facing roles, and develop a certification program and assessment tools for content mastery, simulated application and field execution
    • Work closely with leadership and other stakeholders to design, roll-out, manage and continuously improve all elements of a competency-oriented enablement program for key roles, including first-line managers, to include:
      • Onboarding and mentoring
      • Ongoing coaching and training for e.g. product launches, new sales plays, and sales process evolution; and also for performance management; internal promotions, and other career advancement
    • Use analytics to understand the impact of enablement and identify areas for ongoing focus, e.g. to assess rep performance by tenure and role, and to evaluate the effectiveness of enablement program elements and content
  • Communications: manage communication overload for customer-facing teams by ensuring that the right information is being delivered at the right cadence and in the right format.
  • Technology and Tools: partner with leadership and ops to identify technology and tools that enhance sales & services rep effectiveness and improve buyer/customer engagement
  • Sales Events: work cross functionally to deliver compelling annual kickoffs; onboarding bootcamps; and other events, as needed

What would make you a strong fit:

  • 8+  years of enablement experience:
    • primarily in B2B and/or SaaS
    • worldwide experience
  • Experience and enthusiasm for managing a global enablement program for a field organization that is growing rapidly, across geographies and timezones
  • Deep experience managing enablement processes including onboarding and continuous enablement; certification; sales process optimization; measuring and managing performance for both individuals and programs
  • Works well with leaders and teams to define and implement projects and programs; adept at building and maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships
  • Deep understanding of common sales and services tools (e.g. Salesforce) and experience identifying, deploying, and managing enablement-related tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset
  • Ability to focus on the details and also the big picture
