The Team


At Torch, the Sales Operations Department creates processes and support for the broader sales teams, including the Sales and Customer Success departments. At this time, we are focused on creating better strategies to better utilize our current tech stack within the Sales Operations Department. 


Within our team, you will implement sales methodologies and best practices while identifying KPIs and sales metrics while sharing reporting data with our Sales Manager and Leadership team to help drive results. Additionally, the Sales Operation Manager will work cross-functionally to develop and refine sales processes to drive higher productivity across the sales team.


This role is reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Strategy. 

Your Position

  • You will develop performance dashboards for the Sales team and management such as Pipeline Hygiene, Account Executive State of the Union, Leaderboard, Forecasting, Long-Term Pipeline Outlook. 
  • You will support sales teams, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of reporting, including forecasts.
  • You will partner directly with sales management daily to drive in quarter execution and future quarter preparedness.
  • You will work as a utility player on the Field Operations Team: including but not limited to reporting & analytics, sales forecasting, training, commissions, process documentation.
  • You will help define the blueprint for operational cadence.
  • You will develop new ways to solve existing problems using data, processes, and technology.
  • You will ensure sales processes and policies are being followed and communicated.

Your Experience

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • You have working professional experience in a Sales Operations capacity, such as sales strategy, sales operations, business analyst, or financial analyst roles.
  • You are highly adept at navigating Salesforce for reporting, forecasting, and building dashboards.
  • You have working professional experience in sales forecasting, territory modeling, and business processes within an organization. 
  • You have experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Professional Services. 
  • You have excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple projects at one time while having attention to detail.
  • You have professional experience working with Salesloft, RingLead, and ZoomInfo.
