Job Summary:

Semtech is seeking a Salesforce Administrator & Developer to join our IT Business Applications team. This role owns the day-to-day administration, configuration, and development of Semtech's Salesforce ecosystem, spanning multiple production orgs, Customer Community, B2B Commerce and CX/support-case processes. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on administration and development skills with the ability to apply AI tools to automate, analyze, and accelerate Salesforce operations and enhancement delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and configure multiple Salesforce orgs — security model, automation, page layouts, and Lightning components (35%).
  • Own the support ticket lifecycle — triage, scoping, and sandbox-to-production release management (20%).
  • Manage user access — provisioning, licensing, and least-privilege enforcement (15%).
  • Maintain and extend B2B Commerce/eStore, quoting, and SAP/middleware integrations (15%).
  • Apply AI tooling to Salesforce work, support Lightning migration, and maintain technical documentation for stakeholders and audit/compliance (15%).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community/Experience Cloud.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow Builder.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple Salesforce orgs/instances in a multi-business-unit or M&A/divestiture environment.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security), and release management (sandboxes, change sets, or CI/CD deployment tools).
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or direct integration with ERP systems such as SAP).
  • Practical experience using AI tools to support development, data analysis, documentation, or process automation — comfort working with AI/MCP-connected workflows is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently triage, scope, and resolve support tickets end-to-end.
  • Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B Commerce / eStore implementations.
  • Exposure to Salesforce security reviews or remediation of bug-bounty/pen-test findings.
  • Experience supporting customer community/portal registration and identity flows
  • Familiarity with Jira/Atlassian for ticket and project tracking.
  • Experience in a semiconductor, hardware, or manufacturing enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts for reporting and data validation.
