How you’ll make an impact:

As a Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting and continually improving Strata’s Salesforce platform. We are looking for a proactive individual who can partner with users and stakeholders to understand business needs, maintain and enhance Salesforce functionality, and deliver solutions using platform best practices.

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administration and support of the platform while contributing to enhancements, automation, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will gather requirements, configure and test solutions, troubleshoot issues, maintain system and data quality, and help drive effective adoption of Salesforce across the business.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Salesforce administration and can independently deliver routine to moderately complex configuration and enhancements within established architecture and governance standards. This role collaborates with teams across the business and works closely with other Enterprise Applications team members on more complex solutions and projects.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Salesforce Administration & Configuration

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce functionality, including Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, validation rules, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
  • Administer the Salesforce user lifecycle, including user setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, access, and licensing.
  • Respond to user issues, service requests, and change requests, troubleshooting problems and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Support Salesforce upgrades, releases, testing, and change control processes.
  • Maintain sandbox environments used for development, testing, and training.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide users and business stakeholders with actionable information.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Train users on Salesforce functionality and new features and help drive effective adoption of the platform.

Workflow Automation & Process Optimization

  • Gather and document business requirements and translate well-defined business needs into Salesforce configuration and enhancements.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flow and other appropriate declarative platform capabilities.
  • Examine business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend or implement efficiencies using Salesforce capabilities.
  • Test configuration and automation changes to ensure solutions meet business requirements and do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, simplify configuration, and address technical debt, partnering with senior team members on changes with broader architectural impact.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and Salesforce projects, taking ownership of assigned enhancements and workstreams.

Data, Security & Platform Operations

  • Maintain Salesforce data quality by identifying and resolving duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records and supporting ongoing data-quality practices.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Salesforce security practices, including monitoring user activity, reviewing access and permissions, and supporting appropriate user access controls.
  • Perform regular system reviews and audits and assist with remediation of identified issues.
  • Support data imports, exports, updates, and other administrative data-management activities.
  • Follow established platform governance, security, release management, and change control processes.

Integrations & Enterprise Applications

  • Support Salesforce integrations and connected applications, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating changes with other administrators, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain integrations within established patterns and assist with implementation of new integrations.
  • Work with adjacent enterprise applications and business processes that exchange data with or depend on Salesforce.
  • Participate in application upgrades, integration changes, and application consolidation or modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with senior team members on complex integrations, cross-platform solutions, and changes with significant architectural impact.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
  • Experience administering Salesforce Lightning and building automation using Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience configuring Salesforce functionality such as fields, page layouts, record types, permission sets, assignment rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues, and managing service and change requests.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating well-defined requirements into Salesforce configuration and enhancements.
  • Experience with user and access administration, data management, sandbox environments, testing, and release/change management processes.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security and sharing concepts, including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and record-level access
  • Experience with or exposure to one or more Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Proven ability to examine business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical solutions.
  • Experience supporting integrations or working with Salesforce in an integrated enterprise application environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned work while knowing when to engage senior team members for guidance.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system and related enterprise applications such as Marketo, Smartsheet, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Concur, or Gong is a plus.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, problem-solving, documentation, analysis, or solution development, with an understanding of appropriate data security and responsible-use practices.
  • Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies preferred.
