THE WORK

As a Salesforce Business Analyst within a small but mighty team, you'll work closely with business partners to optimize process, drive efficiency, and build scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. This hands-on role involves understanding business processes, proactively finding opportunities for automation or efficiencies, and collaborating with developers and admins to implement upgrades. In a dynamic environment, adaptability is key—you'll balance multiple projects, solve issues, and provide training to ensure user adoption. Your impact will be felt across the business as you help shape and streamline operations through innovative Salesforce solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering

  • Strong passion for identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, reducing friction, and driving smarter, more productive workflows
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and document business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Salesforce configurations and customizations in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. 

Customization and Configuration in Salesforce

  • Provide guidance and support in configuring Salesforce features, including workflows, process builders, validation rules, and custom fields.
  • Work with technical teams to design and implement custom solutions when necessary.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business collaborators, developers, and Salesforce administrators to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Develop and implement test plans to validate system functionality and user requirements.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and incorporate feedback into the final solution.

Documentation

  • Craft and uphold user and/or documentation at a high standard once user stories are implemented

Ongoing Support & Training

  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective adoption of Salesforce solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with technical teams to resolve them promptly.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and basic Salesforce administration.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Reports/Dashboards.
  • Demonstrable experience in gathering and detailing business requirements.
  • Ability to map business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of sales, marketing, and account management core processes and best practices a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present solutions clearly.
  • Able to create effective presentations and visual assets to lead organized discussions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred; Salesforce Business Analyst Certification or additional certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) are a plus.
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 
CA Annual Base Salary Range
$136,000$153,000 USD
