Job Position: Salesforce Tech Lead

Role: Salesforce Tech Lead

Required Technical Skill Set:-

Salesforce Implementation & Development

Location of Requirement:  San Jose, CA

Must-Have

• ~10 years professional experience including: 

• 4+ years’ experience administering or consulting with Salesforce 

• 4+ years’ experience with projects involving relational databases and data modelling 

• 4+ years’ experience with web development 

• Minimum of two Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Developer, Advanced Developer, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud) 

• Experience writing functional specifications, specifically for Salesforce requirements 

• Experience designing and building Salesforce applications

• Experience managing large data volumes in Salesforce, considering limits and performance tuning 

• Experience with data migrations to Salesforce 

• Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with 3rd party applications 

• Experience implementing large scale Salesforce instances 

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in Enterprise Application Integration Patterns and Concepts 

• Web Service Technologies, SOAP, REST 

• XML technologies – XSLT, DOM, SAX, JAXB 

• Java / J2EE– nice to have to understand from integration perspective with other applications 

• Other integration technologies i.e. Spring integration, JMS, AMQP – nice to have 

• Experience with mobile application and technologies 

• Excellent troubleshooting skills 

• Ability to take ownership of technology concepts and drive effective discussions 

• Ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences through presentation and discussion 

• High level of independence and ability to drive decisions and plans to closure

• Coordinate and drive the team and make sure to deliver the work products/deliverables on time

Responsibilities

 • Understand and evaluate business requirements in the context of our overall system solutions, including systems outside of Salesforce (Eloqua, SAP ERP, other application integrations etc.)

• Perform gap analysis between business requirements and Salesforce functionality

• Develop overall solution design options and recommendations, considering pros and cons (i.e. object structure, development of formulas, integration points, needs for non-native functionality)

• Conduct design review meetings and lead the evaluation of technical requirements and options

• Write comprehensive design specifications (functional specifications, solution design document, technical design document)

• Coordinate and negotiate solutions to complex, cross-functional scenarios with multiple parties and interests

• Configure, administer and develop within Salesforce, to support prototyping and solution approaches, within a larger team of analysts and developers

• Help set technical standards and guidelines for Salesforce, and coach developers on best practices

• Conduct code reviews and provide appropriate feedback

• Stay abreast of the current and future Salesforce feature set relevant to our organization, in addition to general industry IT trends, and set direction for team to adopt features and technology

• Experience with Sales, marketing and service business domains

• Coordinating both onsite and offshore Team to make sure the assigned works have been completed

• Review the code developed by Team and suggest if any gaps

• Review all other work artifacts developed by team

• Conduct daily hand off call with offshore and onshore team to make sure the deliverables are met
