This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programs and ERP implementation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data migration strategy, data analysis, data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration execution across multiple SAP functional areas.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, data owners, and technical teams to ensure the successful migration of high-quality data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA while minimizing business disruption and ensuring data integrity.

Leaders and doers needed. We are looking for professionals who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver successful SAP data migration outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Strategy & Planning
  • Define and execute end-to-end SAP data migration strategies.

  • Develop migration plans, timelines, and cutover activities.

  • Assess source systems and identify migration requirements.

  • Support data governance and migration readiness activities.

Data Analysis & Mapping
  • Analyze legacy data structures and business requirements.

  • Define data mapping rules between source and target systems.

  • Identify data transformation and enrichment requirements.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to validate business rules.

Data Cleansing & Validation
  • Support data profiling and quality assessments.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and duplicates.

  • Drive data cleansing activities with business stakeholders.

  • Validate migrated data against business and technical requirements.

Migration Execution
  • Execute migration activities using:

    • SAP Migration Cockpit

    • SAP Data Services

    • LSMW (where applicable)

    • ETL and migration tools

  • Perform mock loads, test migrations, and production migrations.

  • Monitor migration performance and troubleshoot issues.

  • Support cutover and go-live migration activities.

Functional Data Areas

Support migration of:

  • Material Master

  • Business Partner / Customer / Vendor Data

  • Bills of Material (BOM)

  • Routings

  • Purchase Orders

  • Contracts & Outline Agreements

  • Inventory Data

  • Finance Master & Transactional Data

  • Open Orders and Open Transactions

  • Project Data

  • Asset Data

Testing & Support
  • Support data migration testing cycles.

  • Reconcile migrated data and resolve discrepancies.

  • Provide hypercare and post-go-live support.

  • Maintain migration documentation and audit trails.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience.

  • Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • SAP Migration Cockpit

    • Data Mapping

    • Data Cleansing

    • Data Validation

    • Data Reconciliation

    • Migration Testing

  • Experience migrating master and transactional data.

  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and data structures.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience in Public Cloud or Private Cloud environments.

  • Experience with:

    • SAP Data Services

    • SAP BODS

    • SAP Information Steward

    • SAP MDG

    • ETL Tools

    • SQL

    • Data Governance Frameworks

  • Experience supporting global and multi-country deployments.

  • Knowledge of Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, or Supply Chain processes.
