Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP ME / MII Consultant with strong expertise in manufacturing execution systems (MES), SAP integration, plant-floor application support, and ITIL-based service delivery.

Location: Wilton, CT or San Jose, CA

Work Mode: Hybrid – Onsite

Duration: 6–12+ Months Contract

Experience: 8–10 Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate SAP ME / MII with SAP ERP modules, including SAP PP, SAP EWM, and SAP PCo.

  • Integrate SAP ME with custom applications and other manufacturing systems.

  • Provide plant-floor application support across manufacturing sites, including Wilton and San Diego.

  • Manage incidents, changes, and problems in accordance with ITIL processes and SLA requirements.

  • Participate in transition planning activities with solution and support teams to understand the complete application landscape.

  • Interact with customers to ensure high application availability and timely issue resolution.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Collaborate with the project Life Cycle Management (LCM) team to plan and execute application upgrades.

  • Evaluate factory requirements, identify problem areas, and perform gap analysis.

  • Assess and evaluate MES products to identify suitable solutions for manufacturing requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate MES consultants to support the global integration of suitable manufacturing solutions.

  • Develop functional and technical specification documents

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience with SAP ME / MII integration.

  • Knowledge of SAP PP, SAP EWM, and SAP PCo integration.

  • Experience integrating SAP ME with custom applications.

  • Knowledge of ITIL-based support models, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

  • Experience delivering support services within defined SLAs.

  • Plant-floor application support experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with application transition planning and knowledge transfer.

  • Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Experience coordinating application upgrades and lifecycle management.

  • Expertise in factory requirement analysis, gap analysis, and MES product evaluation.

  • Experience leading MES consultants and preparing functional and technical specifications.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with global manufacturing systems and MES implementations.

  • Knowledge of SAP MII technical capabilities and manufacturing application integration.
