Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Consultant with 10+ years of experience to support ongoing S/4HANA stabilization and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP PLM, hands-on experience in post-go-live stabilization, and the ability to drive issue resolution, process improvement, and business alignment in a fast-paced environment along with Pharma industry experience.


Key Responsibilities

S/4HANA Stabilization & Support

• Provide post-go-live stabilization support (hypercare), including issue resolution, defect analysis, and performance optimization

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex PLM and cross-functional issues and drive sustainable resolutions

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for stable operations


SAP PLM Functional Delivery

• Design, configure, and support SAP PLM functionalities including:

     o Specification Management

     o Engineering Change Management (ECM)

     o Document Management System (DMS)

     o Bill of Materials (BOM), recipes, production versions and Product Data Governance

• Support product lifecycle processes from ideation to manufacturing and compliance

• Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as PP-PI, QM, MM, and Supply Chain


Incident & Defect Management

• Lead resolution of complex incidents and defects, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality expectations

• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, integration) for issue resolution and enhancements

• Drive continuous improvement to reduce recurring issues


Testing & Data Migration

• Support unit testing, SIT, and UAT cycles

• Validate and manage data migration activities (product specifications, material master, BOMs)

• Ensure data consistency and quality post-migration


Stakeholder & Business Engagement

• Work closely with business stakeholders, R&D, and manufacturing teams to align PLM processes with business needs [linkedin.com]

• Conduct workshops to gather requirements and drive process improvements

• Build strong trust with business users through proactive communication and delivery


Documentation & Governance

• Prepare and maintain:

     o Functional specifications

     o Solution design documents

     o Test scripts and user guides

• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project governance standards
