KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Conversion/Migration Specialist to lead and execute SAP system conversions and migrations from legacy platforms (such as SAP ECC) to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP data migration, system architecture, and integration approaches, as well as hands-on experience managing large-scale transformation projects. This role requires meticulous planning, execution, and validation to ensure seamless transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA conversion and migration projects from planning through go-live and post-migration support.
  • Assess existing SAP environments, data structures, and customizations to define migration strategies and roadmaps.
  • Design and implement migration approaches such as system conversion, landscape transformation, and new implementation.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand integration requirements, data dependencies, and business impacts.
  • Manage data migration tools like SAP Software Update Manager (SUM), Database Migration Option (DMO), and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) while validating data integrity and consistency.
  • Develop migration test plans, perform mock migrations, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity during migration activities.
  • Optimize performance and monitor system health post-migration.
  • Document migration processes, configuration changes, and lessons learned to support governance and audits.
  • Provide training and support to business users and technical teams to ensure smooth adoption.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA conversion, migration, or landscape transformation projects.
  • Strong expertise in SAP architecture, modules, data migration tools, and cloud/on-premise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SUM, DMO, SAP Landscape Management, SAP Data Services, and related tools.
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures, custom code adjustments, and integration patterns.
  • Experience working with database migrations (e.g., HANA migration, Unicode conversion).
  • Knowledge of project management, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP certification in S/4HANA or related areas is highly desirable.
