Position Overview

-Highly skilled Solution Architect and Product Owner specializing in Warehouse Management to lead design, configuration, and optimization of our Customer’s logistics and warehousing systems - in this dual-role capacity, you will serve as technical architect designing end-to-end warehousing solutions and as Product Owner driving product roadmap, backlog, and execution for Customer

-Ideal candidate must possess hands-on configuration experience in advanced warehouse management systems and have experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector; due to sensitive nature of our defense contracts and compliance requirements, US Citizenship is strictly required

 

Key Responsibilities

-As a Solution Architect (with Configuration Focus):

--Solution Design & Configuration: lead hands-on configuration, prototyping, and testing of advanced Warehouse Management (WM) solutions to support complex warehouse processes (e.g., inbound/outbound processing, internal movements, physical inventory, and replenishment)

--A&D Compliance & Traceability: architect warehousing solutions that strictly adhere to A&D regulations, including ITAR, EAR, serial number tracking, batch management, and military packaging standards

--Integration Design: design seamless integration touchpoints between Warehouse Management and adjacent functional areas such as Procurement, Production (MRP/PPDS), Quality Management (QM), and outbound logistics

--Hardware & Automation Integration: architect integrations with warehouse technologies, including RF scanning, barcode systems, and automated material handling equipment (MHE)

 

As a Product Owner:

--Backlog Ownership: act as primary Product Owner for Customer, managing, prioritizing, and grooming product backlog to ensure delivery aligns with business priorities

--Requirement Translation: translate complex business requirements and operational challenges into clear, actionable user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria

--Customer Collaboration: serve as trusted advisor and main point of contact for Customer stakeholders, aligning technical capabilities with their strategic logistics goals

--Sprint Planning & Validation: participate in Agile ceremonies, define sprint goals, and validate completed configurations to ensure they meet "Definition of Done" and deliver maximum value

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

-Experience in Aerospace & Defense industry, with an understanding of defense logistics, government-furnished property (GFP), and strict traceability requirements

-Hands-on Configuration: proven, deep experience configuring Warehouse Management systems (such as SAP EWM/WM or equivalent enterprise-grade WMS)

-Product Ownership: minimum of 2–3 years of experience acting as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile/Scrum environment

 

Preferred Skills

-Experience with SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

-Familiarity with defense-specific warehousing challenges, such as managing hazardous materials, high-value asset storage, and secure inventory areas

-Strong communication skills with ability to bridge gap between warehouse floor operations and executive stakeholders
