‍Uncountable is seeking recent graduates interested in a career in data engineering to help manage customers datasets. Our goal is to revolutionize industrial research and development. We’re looking for motivated software engineers who can help to build out tools that will accelerate the development of new chemicals and materials.


Your primary responsibility will be to structure and ingest customer data for the Uncountable Web Platform where scientists enter and analyze their experiments. In this role you will (1) manipulate, transform and upload R&D data by writing Python scripts (2) setup ETL pipelines between Uncountable and other data warehouses used by our customers (3) provide new solutions for users to bring in and export their data. This position demands a creative and analytical thinker with cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets and identify the steps needed to clean, process and upload the data into our platform.



Requirements

Computer science, data analysis and/or data engineering coursework

Interest in a software engineering career and technology startups

Affinity and familiarity working with data in Excel

Scripting or coding experience in Python to efficiently manipulate large volumes of data


Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SQL, experience writing queries and working with databases
