  • Development of internal assays, establishing relationships and working with external NGS CDx (Next-Generation Sequencing Companion Diagnostics) vendors to support genomic characterization of tissue. Some identified areas for these applications are –

    • Supporting programs which require characterization of molecular dependencies and genomic drivers of disease in indications of interest.

    • Supporting decision-making around patient selection by histopathology (IHC/IF) or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).

  • Pathology-driven efforts to enable immuno-oncology target protein quantification by correlating synthetically defined target expression profiles with human patient tissue samples to inform indication selection and efficacy prediction.

  • Integrating histology/image analysis driven insights with Spatial Transcriptomics/similar datasets in studies that support –

    • Generation of spatially meaningful insights to improve understanding of disease biology and inform mechanism of action in specific therapeutic contexts

    • Reverse translational research in pre- and post-treatment biopsies from clinical trials.

  • Sourcing and procurement of patient tissues with NGS-guided dependencies, prior treatment histories and other specialized contexts.

Basic qualifications:

  • PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology or  Genetics with an emphasis on computational genomics

  • Basic molecular biology bench skills, generation of stable cell lines, NGS/ST library preparation as required

  • Proficiency in computational analysis, including coding skills (Python or R) and experience with ML algorithms is preferred
