This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and project management in multiple sectors.
Requirements
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within supply chain and logistics environments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Identify opportunities for improving supply chain processes and implement best practices.
- Manage supply chain projects related to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans as needed.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical supply chain operations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track project expenses and provide regular financial reports.
