Job Description:

The Standard Solutions group at Solar Turbines is at the forefront of developing innovative products and tools that drive success for our customers across diverse industries. We are seeking a motivated and forward‑thinking Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced engineering environment and enjoy creative problem‑solving, this role offers an exciting opportunity.

This position is 5 days a week in office in San Diego.

Position Overview:

As a Scrum Master, you will partner with a global, cross‑functional team to design, develop, and implement modern software tools using Agile methodologies. You will help drive the modernization of legacy systems while supporting the adoption of new technologies and development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owner, technical architect, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver modern software tools that support product design, testing, and validation.
  • Champion and evolve Agile practices across the organization, promoting continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards and stakeholder needs.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Agile tools and methodologies, with demonstrated success driving organizational change.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with end users and business leaders.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience modernizing legacy software tools.
  • Ability to advise leadership on technical developments and process improvements.

Managing Multiple Priorities:

  • Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,704.00 - $169,056.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
