About the Team: 

Protective Operations is a trusted business partner dedicated to protecting our people, securing our facilities, managing risk, and enabling the safe, secure, and uninterrupted execution of Relativity Space's mission through operational excellence, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This role serves as the technical lead for physical security infrastructure across Relativity Space facilities, including manufacturing sites, test locations, launch facilities, and corporate offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, hands-on installation, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and supporting security technologies. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring demonstrated experience installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise physical security systems while driving system reliability, standardization, and future growth.

About You:

  • You are a hands-on technical leader with extensive experience designing, installing, configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting enterprise access control, CCTV, and physical security systems.
  • You possess a strong understanding of low-voltage security infrastructure, door hardware, electronic locking devices, networking fundamentals, and integrated security technologies.
  • You have successfully managed complex security technology projects while remaining comfortable working in the field when operational needs require.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can effectively balance technical execution with strategic planning and program management.
  • You build strong partnerships across IT, Facilities, Engineering, and Operations while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. 
  • You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and take pride in delivering reliable, scalable, and innovative security technology solutions that protect people, assets, and critical operations.

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • Networking experience (Cisco, Aruba, VLANs)
  • Aerospace or Defense industry experience
  • Active or previous Secret/Top Secret Clearance

Hiring Range:
$80,000$110,000 USD
