About this team:

As a Senior Account Executive, Agency Development, you will build and maintain relationships with strategic agency accounts and navigate the agencies across programmatic, digital, and linear TV teams. You will pitch the value of Magnite’s supply (across all formats),products and solutions,, as well as,structure and negotiate private market deals to drive meaningful revenue for Magnite. In this role, you will generate and maintain a robust pipeline of agency-based advertiser opportunities across a specified list of accounts. Over time you will establish strong relationships and demonstrate thought leadership and industry expertise to solve business problems for your clients. 

In this role you will: 

  • Understand, build, and manage relationships with programmatic traders and digital advertising agency buyers on the West Coast with a focus on the major holding companies and top independent agencies

  • Actively track sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Evangelize all buying techniques utilized through our programmatic infrastructure 

  • Analyze market trends and client needs to create and pitch customized media plans to digital media buyers through Programmatic and/or Managed Service (direct IO) deals

  • Work to secure, conduct and win client prospect meetings. Managing all aspects of sales pipeline from prospecting to close deals, including driving formal RFP process

  • Understand new publisher inventory options and  product offerings to consult digital advertising agency buyers

  • Develop a deep understanding of Magnite’s buyside products and solutions to prospect and close new business 

  • Partner with Curators, Data Companies, Publishers to unlock net new opportunities

  • Work with support teams to monitor partner's business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase impact for the strategic partners

  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned by management

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 6 - 8 years of adtech sales / consulting / Agency /publisher experience with large digital advertising agencies on the West Coast 

  • Highly motivated sales professional with the ability to leverage existing relationships to grow a strong book of business and a proven history of exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience in online advertising, ideally within Online Video and OTT, with proven strength in programmatic sales or buying.

  • Experience using Excel, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and data analysis platforms for evaluation and reporting.

  • Strong organizational, presentation, active listening, and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong problem-solving abilities  with the capacity to understand complex products, services, and deal structures while developing effective solutions

In California, the base salary range for this position is: $115,000 - $125,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
