We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to spearhead business development efforts in the OTT/CTV space. This role is ideal for someone with a robust network within independent and mid-market agencies and a deep understanding of the local/regional advertising marketplace. You will be instrumental in building, managing, and expanding a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, fostering business growth
- Client Prospecting: Identify and engage new clients through various channels such as cold calling, emailing, monitoring local media companies, networking events, and referrals
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' advertising objectives and challenges, delivering tailored, scalable solutions
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong post-sale relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the OTT/CTV landscape, offering consultative advice to clients
- Business Forecasting: Provide regular forecasts of your sales activities and performance, keeping the regional sales lead informed on progress toward goals.
- Networking and Lead Generation: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand your professional network and generate new business leads
- Regional Travel: Plan and execute travel to your designated region to strengthen relationships and develop new accounts
Qualifications
- Industry Relationships: Established relationships with agencies and clients in your home market and/or dedicated region
- Business Development Experience: Proven track record of developing business from cold call through renewal
- Self-Motivated: A driven individual who excels at managing their own schedule and priorities
- Problem Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify opportunities and strategize effective solutions for clients
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to view the big picture and make decisions that contribute to long-term success
- Negotiation Skills: Strong skills in negotiation, enabling successful deal closures
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
