Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is a leading global communications agency built to navigate the complexities of a hyper-connected world. We represent the icons and innovators shaping culture—from global heritage corporations and high-growth tech startups to the non-profits, creative legends, and visionary founders who define the global discourse.

Our expertise spans the full cultural spectrum. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, social impact, corporate reputation, and consumer lifestyle, executing seamlessly across traditional media, social-first outlets, brand partnerships, and influencer ecosystems. Whether we are navigating complex crisis management, elevating advocacy campaigns, or launching global consumer brands, we are storytellers at our core.

You may notice our digital presence is purposefully understated. While our clients are global household names, we believe the best work happens with the spotlight stays firmly on those we represent. We fly under the radar by design - preferring to let our campaigns, and our results, speak for themselves.

If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an opening for a strategic, high-performing Senior Account Executive to join our Tech & Startup practice. You’ve been in the trenches for 4–5 years and are ready to transition from executing tasks to owning workstreams. You are a media machine who understands that in 2026, a great tech story must live across traditional trades, social feeds, and creator platforms.
This role is for the Tech Obsessed -- your browser is a permanent rotation of TechCrunch, WIRED, and Fast Company, and you have a point of view on which startups are built to last. We are looking for a Senior Account Executive who can manage the backend of an account with military precision while leading the frontend of a media pitch or a high-stakes event.

The Role

  • Media Lead: You leverage an established network of contacts to secure high-impact features and product reviews that move the needle for our clients.
  • Integrated Execution: Architect and execute 360-degree communications strategies that weave together traditional media relations, social media content, and creator/influencer partnerships.
  • Account Stewardship: Own the day-to-day workstreams for a roster of 4–6 clients. You are the "glue" of the account—ensuring deliverables are met, junior staff is on track, and senior management is briefed.
  • Content Command: Produce sophisticated, client-ready materials including messaging frameworks, press releases, executive briefing notes, and high-conversion media pitches.
  • Event & Project Management: Lead the execution of media-specific events (dinners, press conferences, influencer launches). You manage the credentials and on-site logistics while ensuring the big picture strategy is realized.
  • Mentorship in Action: You are a mentor to junior colleagues. You take genuine pride in teaching them the "how" and "why" of PR, from drafting the perfect pitch to managing a complex budget tracker.
  • Business IQ: Participate in new business brainstorms and help craft proposals. You stay ahead of tech trends, venture capital shifts, and platform algorithms to provide real-time value to our clients.
  • Relationship Driven: We are in a people business. You lead by example in how you treat your team, your clients, and the press—building the long-term trust that defines our agency.

Who You Are:

  • Tech Expert: 4–5 years of PR experience with a focus on technology, B2B, or high-growth startups.
  • An Integrated Storyteller: You understand the modern communications landscape and know how to bridge the gap between a Wall Street Journal feature and a viral TikTok moment.
  • Strategic & Decisive: You bring new ideas to the table unprompted and have the decision-making ability to own your projects.
  • High EQ You have high EQ and situational awareness. You know when to command a meeting and when to take a step back to support your team.
  • Exceptionally Organized: You are a master of the "backend"—agendas, recaps, and budget trackers are second nature to you.
  • Driven to Over-Deliver: You take pride in exceeding expectations and have an entrepreneurial spirit that pushes you to make every process and pitch better.
