The Sr Strategic Account Executive – Vertical Markets & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for driving revenue growth across strategic partnerships and targeted vertical markets, including real estate, financial services, and member-based organizations. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships, this role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing partner and customer relationships, and closing complex mid-market and enterprise-level opportunities..

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, helping organizations modernize their marketing ecosystem through Constant Contact's solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of acquiring new business, navigating complex sales cycles, and building long-term strategic relationships. This role requires occasional travel to support customer and partner engagement.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through contract execution for mid-market and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the Strategic Partnerships team to advance qualified opportunities through the commercial sales process and convert pipeline opportunities into revenue.
  • Prospect within assigned vertical markets through targeted outreach, strategic partnerships, and the existing partner and customer ecosystem to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Manage and expand our footprint within complex, multi-divisional enterprise accounts. 
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations and tailored product demonstrations to understand customer objectives, define requirements, and build relationships with executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Develop tailored proposals that align Constant Contact's solutions with customer business goals and long-term growth strategies.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive decision-makers, including CEOs, COOs, CMOs, business owners, and other senior leaders.
  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and implementation planning in partnership with leadership.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to validate solutions and recommend Constant Contact products that best meet each customer's business needs.
  • Deliver compelling proposals and negotiate long-term commercial agreements that drive customer value and revenue growth.
  • Develop expertise in assigned vertical markets and serve as a trusted advisor to industry leaders.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast while effectively managing multiple complex opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue and quota goals

Who you are

  • 8+ years of proven success in SaaS sales focused on complex mid-market and enterprise customers. 
  • Experience selling services or software into real estate, financial services, insurance, or other member-based organizations is a requirement. Experience selling marketing technology or MarTech solutions is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring and expanding mid-market and enterprise customers through consultative sales strategies.
  • Strong executive-level relationship-building, discovery, and consultative selling skills with the ability to navigate complex organizations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing complex commercial negotiations and closing enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-up discipline.
  • Superior relationship-building and communication skills with executive audiences.
  • Naturally curious with a consultative approach to understanding customer business challenges and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to work independently while partnering effectively across Strategic Partnerships, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success in a fast-paced environment.

OTE for this role is $150,000+

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
