Job Description Summary:
A Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, driving sales, and identifying new business opportunities. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive experience in sales to identify new business opportunities, nurture existing client accounts, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions tailored to our client's needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Developing and executing account plans and strategies
- Make outbound calls to prospects who are considered an ideal customer profile and part of the target account list.
- Conducts sales needs analysis with new and prospective customers, including the development of client-centric product solutions and informing clients and team members about new products/services, features, etc.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to clients
- Create a strong sales pipeline of qualified prospects by asking questions to determine a potential fit for Fusion products.
- Responsible for achieving a monthly unit quota in data, product, service, and or video sales.
- Maintains all sales databases necessary to report sales activity and customer information including detailed notes with accurate close dates.
- Works in conjunction with other business services support groups, including sales support and marketing personnel.
- Close deals efficiently while kindly guiding clients through the process
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Strong knowledge and ability to develop leads from marketing campaigns and meet sales quotas
- Understands the communication needs of small and mid-sized business customers, and designs solutions to meet those unique business needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals.
- Results-oriented and highly motivated self-starter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, including scheduling appointments, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also thriving independently.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an inside/outside sales environment preferred.
- Experience working in and successfully navigating a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience with a Windows-based PC and CRM tools such as Salesforce is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as successfully function independently.
