Job Title: Senior Account Executive.

Department: Sales - Brand.    

Reports to: SVP-Sales.

Experience Required: At least 2 years of sales, business development and operating experience preferred.

Salary Range: $75-90K, OTE $150-$180K. 

Supervisory/Training Responsibilities: This role does not supervise/manage others.  This is an Individual Contributor role.

Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM ET.

Job Location: Remote in United States.


Job Overview

As a Senior Account Executive, your focus will be to find business opportunities at the mid-market and emerging markets level,  and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base in your assigned territories.  Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

Some of your Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to securing the sale.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Effectively present products to prospective clients.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs to nurture and grow existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate across the company to respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction in order to maintain the company’s reputation.
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
  • Communicate and report on successes and obstacles to overcome.
  • The role is a remote position with some travel expected for in-person meetings and/or conferences. 

 Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Comfortable helping to lead complex contract negotiations.
  • Ability to lead analysis-driven negotiation processes and have proven closing skills (internal or external).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Professional, ideally in mid-market and emerging market accounts.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Highly developed business acumen.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about sales.
  • High School diploma required, BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing preferred.
  • Experience working with brand manufacturers preferred.
  • Experience selling software solutions and/or marketing solutions preferred.
