About the Role
A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. This role will support financial reporting, analysis, and accounting operations while partnering with leadership to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in corporate accounting within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst 

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to management on trends and performance

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Assist with audit preparation and compliance with GAAP and internal controls

  • Evaluate accounting processes and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, FP&A, and leadership

  • Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for internal and external reporting

Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 4–7+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar preferred)

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
