At Weights & Biases, our mission is to build the best tools for AI developers. We founded our company on the insight that while there were excellent tools for developers to build better code, there were no similarly great tools to help ML practitioners build better models. Starting with our first experiment tracking product, we have since expanded our solution into a comprehensive AI developer platform for organizations focused on building their own deep learning models and generative AI applications.

Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 employees. We proudly serve over 1,000 customers and more than 30 foundation model builders including customers such as OpenAI, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Toyota.

We're hiring a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to lead the technical engagement and success of our federal and public sector clients. Partnering closely with our Head of Federal, this role will be highly visible and critical to the growth of Weights & Biases’ burgeoning public sector practice. In this role, you will lead pre- and post-sales motions, working closely with federal machine learning (ML) teams to tackle critical, real-world challenges across computer vision, NLP, robotics, and help government clients understand how Weights & Biases can help with evolving AI assurance requirements.

You’ll play a central role in helping prospective clients evaluate and implement Weights & Biases, guiding them from initial demo to full deployment and customer success. Additionally, you’ll serve as a government vertical’s technical GTM representative for government needs internally across Product and Engineering teams, including but not limited to coordinating the support of post-sale technical and implementation requirements aligned with government standards.

  • Pre-Sales: Partner with GTM team to manage pre-sales requirements from each stage and tactically drive those motions
  • Post Sales: Lead coordination in partners with W&B’s solution architecture team to help federal customers in deploying, configuring, and optimizing Weights & Biases solutions, ensuring success in their unique environments
  • Cross-Functional: Act as a bridge between federal customer needs and internal teams, providing insights and feedback for product development and prioritization.
  • Cross-Functional: Engage with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure that federal-specific requirements are incorporated into our product roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional: Guide customers in adapting Weights & Biases solutions to meet federal regulations, including FedRAMP and DoD standards.
  • Cross-Functional: Stay informed on relevant federal compliance standards, enabling federal teams to maintain adherence to regulations across deployments

  • Strong programming proficiency in Python and willingness to work “hands-on keyboard” to help practitioners see the value of W&B’s platform
  • Ability to adapt machine learning solutions to meet federal compliance standards and an understanding of what it takes to get the technical win in the government market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on explaining technical concepts within the context of federal guidelines
