That work has earned recognition as one of Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators (2025), TravelTech's Reservation Platform of the Year (2026), and one of Built In's Best Places to Work (2020–2026).
We're looking for bold, ambitious people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel. Working here, you can expect exponential growth, an ambitious pace, full ownership, and high-caliber colleagues who push you to do the best work of your career. Every hire raises the bar.
Come outpace the ordinary and build the future of travel with us.

About the Role

Engine X is a corporate card and spend management product with a growing application volume that requires rigorous, fast credit decisioning. The Sr. Credit Analyst owns the full underwriting cycle — application review, KYB, limit-setting, documentation, and escalation — with the analytical judgment to execute independently and the instinct to flag what the team needs to know.

What You'll Do
  • Work the Engine X credit underwriting queue from receipt to decision — applying the credit decision framework with speed and documented rationale.
  • Run KYB verification — validate business identity, interpret D&B and equivalent bureau data, and assess creditworthiness for each application.
  • Actively flag steps in the underwriting workflow that can be systematized or removed — we're building toward a decision engine, and your observations from the queue feed that build.
  • Document every decision to the standard required for exception review and regulatory defensibility — notes that stand on their own without verbal explanation.
  • Identify patterns across applications — shared signals, exception trends, emerging risk indicators — and surface them proactively rather than treating each application in isolation.
  •  Support backtest analysis for proposed rule changes — help assess the impact of policy shifts on historical application data.
  •  Contribute to SOP development and documentation as the credit framework matures.
  •  Coordinate with the Fraud team on application-stage signals that overlap between fraud and credit risk.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of commercial or business credit analysis or underwriting experience — comfortable owning the full decision lifecycle independently.
  • D&B or equivalent commercial credit bureau experience.
  • KYB process execution.
  • Automation mindset — you're uncomfortable with manual processes that could be systematized and you say so. You see the queue as a source of signal for what to automate next, not just work to be done.
  • Strong documentation — underwriting rationale that stands on its own for exception review or regulatory defensibility.
  • Ability to identify patterns across applications and flag policy gaps proactively.
  • Fintech, corporate card, or SMB credit environment strongly preferred.
  • SQL or Google Sheets / Excel for data analysis a plus.
  • Experience contributing to SOP or credit policy documentation a plus.

Applications for this role will be accepted through 02/11/2027 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
