Shape the investments behind Coveo's technology and corporate teams!

Want a seat at the table where investment and resource decisions are made? As a key financial partner to our Research & Development (R&D) and General & Administrative (G&A) teams, you'll turn financial and operational data into insights that help leaders make informed decisions.

You'll work closely with leaders across the organization to challenge assumptions, connect financial performance to business priorities, and bring clarity to complex decisions. Reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, you'll play an important role in how Coveo plans and allocates its resources.

As our Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:
  • Serve as the primary financial partner for R&D and G&A leaders, owning their budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, and workforce planning end-to-end.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each function's operational and financial drivers, including headcount, compensation, technology investments, external resources, departmental spending, and other key cost drivers.
  • Translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations, helping leaders evaluate investments, trade-offs, resource allocation, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and present clear financial analyses for business reviews, planning cycles, investment decisions, and resource requests.
  • Act as the liaison between business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Corporate FP&A to ensure alignment, planning discipline, and visibility into evolving business needs.
  • Actively participate in annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly forecasting, while collaborating with the Business Intelligence team to continuously improve reporting and data visualization tools such as Sigma and Snowflake.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a similar finance role.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Finance Business Partner, with the ability to challenge assumptions, influence senior leaders, and translate business priorities into financial implications.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of cost structures, workforce planning, operating expenses, resource allocation, and how decisions across functions affect company-wide financial projections.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, along with experience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Sigma or Power BI.
What will make you stand out:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is an asset.
  • Experience partnering directly with R&D, technology, or G&A functions in a software or technology company.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or a similar financial planning and budgeting system.
  • Comfort navigating a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, ambiguity is part of the day-to-day, and thoughtful recommendations sometimes need to be made with imperfect information.
