Join Navan's growing Travel Product Strategy & Analysis team as a Senior Analyst focused on driving strategic product decisions through economic modeling and data-driven insights. You'll be at the center of product investment strategy, working directly with Travel Product leadership to optimize our marketplace revenue and drive cost reduction across the user journey on Navan Travel.
As a key member of our small, high-impact team, you'll own business understanding for our travel platforms and serve as the analytical backbone for cross-functional engagement with Finance, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams. This role combines deep analytical rigor with strategic product thinking to influence investment decisions.
What You'll Do:
Build comprehensive business cases with ROI analysis and sensitivity modeling for product investments across our product suite, with a focus on Navan’s Marketplace.
Lead complex analyses into marketplace behavior and user funnels to drive product development priorities
Build scalable performance tracking with variance analysis and root cause identification
Develop forecasting models and monitor performance against projections
Represent the Product strategy and roadmap within financial planning and forecasting cycles by partnering extensively with FP&A
Work with Engineering and Design teams to translate flight booking insights into technical requirements and feature specifications
Design and analyze A/B tests and product experiments, establishing success metrics and measurement frameworks
What We're Looking For:
+6 years in business strategy, or consulting, or product analytics, preferably in travel or consumer tech companies
Proactive mindset for identifying leverage points and strategic opportunities
Expert-level SQL proficiency for complex data analysis across large datasets
Advanced background in economic modeling, ROI analysis, and business case development
Strong analytical storytelling skills for presenting complex problems to diverse stakeholders
Experience synthesizing complex data into actionable insights by utilizing a full modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake preferred) and data visualization platforms (Thoughspot preferred)
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, while working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Engineering, and GTM teams
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
