Senior Angular Developer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Angular Developer to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business. This developer will play a pivotal role in front-end GUI development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, among other tools and libraries. The ideal Senior Angular Developer will have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile practices, and possess expertise in collaborating within development teams to build modern applications. Our developer will utilize their passion and expertise to develop and sustain vital applications for the Veterans Administration, supporting the VA’s commitment to seamless user experiences and enhanced functionality for enterprise-wide digital transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work and collaborate on a team of project managers, business analysts, developers/engineers, and QA staff within an Agile DevSecOps environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will also be expected to interface with client representatives. Our team member will:
- Develop and maintain front-end graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and other front-end tools and libraries.
- Apply knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, Agile practices, and Jira for efficient project execution.
- Implement human factor principles in GUI design to enhance user experience and usability.
- Collaborate on the development and integration of Web-services or Microservices into the front-end architecture.
- Implement security processes such as OAuth and other relevant security protocols to ensure data protection.
- Work concurrently with other developers on code using GitHub branches for seamless collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination required by clients.

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
- Advanced ability in front-end GUI development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and related front-end tools and libraries.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and experience using Jira.
- Experience with human factor principles and their application in GUI design.
- Familiarity with Web-services or Microservices and their integration into front-end development.
- Knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth for implementing secure solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other developers using GitHub branches.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HL7 or FHIR standards, especially in healthcare or pharmacy systems.
- Understanding of architecture styles and APIs including SOAP, REST, or RPC.
- Knowledge of 508 compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Java, Spring, or XML.
- Experience supporting Veterans Affairs programs or Healthcare IT programs.
- Active Public Trust.
