Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community.

Basic Qualifications & Background

The person in this position will serve as the lead of the DevOps Application Development/Sustainment Center of Operations, which includes the responsibilities of ensuring overall leadership of all Application Development/Sustainment within DLIFLC. This includes ensuring timely delivery and best DevOps practices, Agile Methodology, SDLC, and Release Management. The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all AppDev servers and applications.

Experience

• Specialized experience requirements include 7 years of progressive experience in serving as an Application Developer in .NET.
• Experience leading teams.
• Experience with DevOps Methodologies, GitLab, and Agile Methodologies.
• Relevant Experience with Amazon, Microsoft, Google cloud services.
• Required Skills include .NET, JAVA, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint, .Net, SQL, HTML5, SQL, MySQL, iOS Development/Sustainment, PhP, WordPress.
• Extensive experience in both application development/sustainment as well as operational support for large, highly scalable applications.
  

Education 

• Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology or related field OR 2‑year technical diploma OR 2+ years of directly relevant hands‑on IT support experience. Bachelor’s preferred, not required.

Certifications

• IAT Level I (A+ CE or Network+ CE) — required. IAT Level II (Security+, CySA+, or SSCP) — preferred for shift leads/escalation or when privileged admin access is assigned. Vendor OS cert (Windows or Apple) preferred for imaging/break‑fix.
  

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.

Pay Rate

Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
