In this role, you’ll take ownership of high volumes of financial data and transform it into clear, accurate, and substantive deliverables.
You will be an integral member of a highly diverse public accounting practice focused on financial accounting and operations, tax, trust and estate accounting, bankruptcy, and litigation support. Key Requirements
- Exacting command of debits, credits, and double-entry accounting system
- Ability to accurately code, input, and reconcile AP, AR and bank statement transactions
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks (or comparable program) and Microsoft Office
- BA or BS degree in accounting or finance-related major preferred
- 2 to 3 years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience with increasing responsibilities
- CPA or CPA track
- Income tax preparation knowledge and experience a plus
- Can reliably commute to our Los Angeles office
Job Duties
- Monthly and quarterly accounting, including financial statement preparation (balance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement)
- Financial analysis
- Trust and probate accounting
- Bank statement and general ledger reconciliations
- Payroll accounting and payroll tax returns
- Sales, business, property tax filings
- Income tax return preparation
