About Superpower

We’re on a mission to build a new health care system that extends and enhances human life. Superpower will build a new health system that is preventative, personalized, and performance-enhancing — bringing the best of health into one place.

93% of our members say we're better than their doctor or life-changing and 60% discover something their doctor missed.

About the Role

You'll own how Superpower looks, feels, and shows up in the world.

This is a high-visibility, high-craft role for someone who can lead brand evolution across every touchpoint – from product launches and campaigns to social, environmental, and editorial design. You'll define the visual system that makes Superpower instantly recognizable and impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do
  • Lead design across brand moments: product launches, campaigns, events, partnerships, and cultural initiatives

  • Design across mediums — web, social, print, packaging, environmental, editorial, and motion

  • Build and evolve the brand system: toolkits, templates, guidelines, and asset libraries that scale

  • Collaborate directly with founders, product designers, engineers, and growth to shape how Superpower communicates

  • Concept and execute one-off creative that pushes boundaries — not everything needs to live inside the system

  • Prototype with AI and emerging tools to move faster and expand creative range

  • Set and hold a high bar for visual quality across every surface the brand touches

  • Give and receive direct, caring feedback — we believe radical feedback is a gift

What You Bring
  • 6-8+ years of experience in brand, visual, or marketing design — ideally at a high-growth startup, DTC brand, or top-tier agency

  • A portfolio that makes people pause. Strong visual taste, range across mediums, and evidence of systems thinking alongside one-off craft

  • Deep command of typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling

  • Comfort with speed and ambiguity — you ship great work fast, not perfect work slowly

  • Fluency in Figma. Bonus if you work in motion, 3D, or code

  • Experience using AI tools in your creative process — for ideation, production, or experimentation

  • Low ego, high standards. You care more about the best idea winning than your idea winning

Nice to Have
  • Experience in health, wellness, or mission-driven brands

  • Motion design or creative/art direction for video

  • Experience building brand systems from zero or leading a rebrand

  • Illustration, 3D, or generative design skills

Why Superpower
  • Mission that matters: we catch diseases before they start and change people’s lives

  • Radical empowerment: no layers of approval, no waiting for permission if you see a problem we reward people that solve them

  • A-players only: small team of exceptional people who actually do the work

  • Founder mode: everyone is an IC here, including leadership. We don't delegate, we build

  • Competitive compensation with equity in a company at the frontier of health and AI

  • Superpower your own health — we live the ethos

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 (non-inclusive of equity).

Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
