The Opportunity:

Miris is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Senior Business Development Manager with a focus on Training and Simulation partnerships to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our Training and Simulation portfolio by recruiting new customers, technology partners, and system integrators who specialize in this unique industry. Additionally, you will support the growth of our customer and partner communities through prospecting and influencing scalable industry solutions. 

This is a hands-on business development role for someone who enjoys establishing and building relationships, driving customer and partner success, and helping create scalable industry programs. You’ll work directly with our SVP of Business Development to ensure that our Training and Simulation community thrives and that our customers are connected to the right resources at the right time.

What You’ll Do
  • Recruit, onboard, and engage new customers, technology partners, and system integrators in the Training and Simulation industry.
  • Lead business development and sales efforts, including prospecting, outbound communication, and pipeline management.
  • Maintain customer records, track engagement, and contribute to detailed customer reporting.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for Training and Simulation customer and partner inquiries, connecting them with internal technical experts as needed.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Business Development to design scalable customer and partner processes, resources, and engagement strategies.
  • Meet with customers and partners to deliver industry-specific requirements back to Miris.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in business development in Training and Simulation partnerships, sales, or customer success.
  • Extensive domain knowledge and deep contacts in the Training and Simulation industry, and a passion for prospecting.
  • Deep familiarity and proven experience navigating the Training and Simulation ecosystem, including strong relationships with key technology partners and system integrators, or a substantial track record in B2B SaaS partnerships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to establish and maintain relationships both with clients and across all organizational levels, up to and including the C-Suite.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple work streams.
  • Collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and grow in a high-impact business development environment.
  • Experience working in a startup, high-growth, or remote-first environment.
  • Proven expertise with tools for CRM, partner management, or customer support is required, including the ability to manage and optimize these systems.
  • Experience with Unity, Web, and AR/VR app experiences is a plus.
Target Base Salary Range
$120,000$150,000 USD
