Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Representative (Level 5) to join the Missile and Weapon Systems team in Ogden, Utah!
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads Business Development and Strategy for the Strategic Deterrence Systems business of approximately ~$2B annually and manages ~$7M of New Business Funds annually
  • Directs all domestic capture activities for Boeing defense Strategic Deterrence Systems. Specific new business captures include Minuteman Service Life Extension, Strategic Deterrence Systems Futures, Little Mountain Test Facility, and Boeing Proprietary programs.
  • Drives Core franchise business growth to include Minuteman sustainment and Boeing Repair and Sustainment Center.
  • Responsible for customer understanding, relationships, and engagement on associated portfolios with the USAF and DoD Research & Development organizations.
  • Serves as the Business Development lead in support of the Strategic Deterrence Systems leadership team.
  • Provides portfolio inputs to the Weapons Growth and Investment Review, Strategic Business Counsel, Business IRAD Reviews, Long Range Business Plans, and Strategic Plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DOD)
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting succinctly to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
  • Agile and willing to work in a fast paced work environment while balancing multiple tasks concurrently and paying close attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working in the nuclear enterprise, particularly with the land-based nuclear deterrent capability
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Active Top Secret is preferred

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $153,000 - $207,000
