Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - San Diego, CA or Atlanta, GA

  • Hybrid 3 days/week, Full time M-F 8am-5pm PST or EST
  • Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
  • FairSquare will not consider candidates requiring 1099 or C2C.
  • Exempt/Salary: $101,000-$151,000. Position eligible for additional incentives including bonus, 401(k) match, health and welfare benefits, amazing culture, growth opportunity and more!!

FairSquare has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills. This individual utilizes their analytics experience alongside technical tools to complete analytics projects, providing stakeholders information necessary to make business decisions.


Major Responsibilities:

· Respond quickly to business inquiries from stakeholders; delivering conclusions with detailed assumptions that provide a clear understanding of the business question

· Develops and maintains advanced and dynamic dashboards for the business to self-serve ongoing business knowledge

· Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

· Utilize SQL, Python/R, or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis.

· Create and manage data visualization dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Domo, and Excel.

· Uses data and process knowledge to assist data warehouse development

· The ideal candidate will have the ability to tell stories with the data, communicate effectively, and instill confidence in recommendations to motivate stakeholders to take action

· Ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed to drive business insights and strategy development

· Develops new and better analytics approaches to solve questions in a creative way

Minimum Requirements:

· Minimum 4 years of work experience in business intelligence

· Experience with Tableau, Domo, or similar BI tools

· Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS)

· Expertise in SQL

· Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

· Demonstrates quick learning and growth potential

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar quantitative field

Preferred Requirements:

· Experience in Financial Services or Sales or Marketing Analytics.
