Armstrong Transport Group is looking for an experienced Senior Capacity Sales Representative who knows that strong carrier relationships are about more than covering today's load.

You'll use your market knowledge, negotiation skills, and carrier network to secure reliable capacity, protect margin, and keep freight moving. You'll work closely with Account Managers, agents, and internal teams while developing carrier relationships that create repeat capacity and support continued growth.


What You'll Accomplish:

● Develop carrier relationships that create reliable, repeat capacity

● Source and secure capacity across Armstrong's freight network

● Negotiate competitive carrier rates while balancing service, margin, and customer expectations

● Use market knowledge, carrier data, and technology to make informed coverage decisions

● Partner with Account Executives and agents to solve capacity challenges

● Monitor carrier performance and proactively address service issues

● Contribute to monthly load-volume goals and the continued growth of Armstrong's carrier network


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience in carrier sales, capacity, brokerage operations, or a related transportation role

● Experience sourcing capacity and negotiating carrier rates

● Strong understanding of freight markets, pricing, and carrier operations

● Proven ability to develop and maintain carrier relationships

● Ability to manage high freight volume and prioritize in a fast-moving environment

● Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
