Job Title: Senior MDM Engineer  

Overview  

The Senior MDM Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of client device solutions across the organization. This pivotal role requires advanced expertise in mobile device management (MDM) platforms, particularly JAMF and Intune, as well as a strong background in solution architecture and scripting. The Senior Client Engineer works collaboratively with technical teams and leadership, providing guidance, mentoring, and strategic insights to ensure robust, scalable, and secure client environments. The role also demands extensive experience in Device Trust frameworks, Azure cloud services, and conditional access policies, enabling secure and compliant device connectivity throughout the organization. Integration of AI and heavy automation is a key aspect, driving innovation and efficiency in device management and security. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, deploy, and maintain MDM solutions, with a primary focus on JAMF and Intune, to ensure optimal device management and security. 

  • Develop and implement client device architectures that align with organizational requirements and best practices, including Device Trust frameworks to enforce secure endpoints. 

  • Create, optimize, and maintain advanced scripts to automate device management tasks and improve operational efficiency, leveraging AI-driven automation where applicable. 

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and resolve complex technical challenges, including the implementation of Azure-based conditional access controls. 

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and technical mentorship to engineering team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing. 

  • Partner with leadership to shape team strategy, set priorities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of client engineering practices, with a focus on expanding automation and AI capabilities. 

  • Manage multiple projects and workloads effectively, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. 

Qualifications 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with MDM solutions, especially JAMF and Intune. 

  • Extensive knowledge of macOS, Windows and Mobile OS’s 

  • Proven expertise in solution architecture for Client environments. 

  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, including experience developing AI-powered automation scripts. 

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. 

  • Demonstrated experience guiding and mentoring technical teams. 

  • Extensive experience implementing and managing Device Trust solutions, including the use of certificates and secure device identity verification. 

  • In-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on configuring and maintaining conditional access policies to safeguard organizational endpoints. 

  • Strong background in developing and deploying automation solutions, leveraging AI technologies to enhance device management, compliance, and security operations.

The annual base pay for this position is: $140,200.00 - $210,200.00

The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
