Position Summary
- Help Shape the Institute’s research communications strategy, translating complex work across foundation models, AI systems, and emerging research into clear, compelling narratives for technical, industry, and broader audiences.
- Partner with Institute leadership and researchers to identify high-impact research, refine positioning, and develop communications strategies around model releases, papers, benchmarks, open-source projects, and scientific milestones.
- Strengthen the Institute’s external research profile, identifying opportunities to elevate researchers through top-tier media, conferences, speaking engagements, podcasts, technical communities, and other influential platforms.
- Advise on major research launches and communications moments, helping shape messaging, launch strategy, stakeholder engagement, and external positioning while anticipating reputational, technical, and competitive considerations.
Senior Communications Consultant:
Bring 10+ years of relevant communications experience, ideally across AI, technology, scientific research, or similarly technical fields, with a track record of providing strategic counsel to senior leaders and researchers and translating sophisticated technical concepts for influential audiences.
Scope:
Full time with potential time commitment refinement in January 2027.
